Description

The Staple Fitzpaine Herepath Trail is a long distance trail, which is a good days walk or half day ride/cycle.
The route follows existing public Bridleways and new sections of permissive bridleway. The trail is waymarked and easy to follow - look out for the wooden Herepath posts.

Cyclists
The trail is also suitable for experienced off-road cyclists. If you plan to cycle the trail make sure you have a well-maintained mountain bike and a suitable level of fitness! Mountain Bikes can be hired for a little as £15 per day from Kings Cycles in Taunton.

Horse riders
Please note that due to height restriction barriers at Castle Neroche and Staple Hill, horse box parking is not available in these car parks. Secure horsebox parking can be arranged at:
