- By linking woodland owners with contractors to create a sustainable long term supply of local wood fuel & other wood products
- By working with small and large woodland owners to maximise the management of their resource with advice on grants, felling licences, etc
- By compiling a directory of quality assured contractors within the area
- By "grouping" smaller woodlands to help reduce management costs and create an income for owners
